FAITHFUL - In Temptation

No one, nowhere is exempt. It has happened to all of us. In fact, there’s nothing specifically wrong with being tempted. Even Jesus had to experience temptation, and so, we will too. The vast difference between us and Christ, was that He never sinned. However, we do, and sometimes, often. The wrong is not in the temptation, but in giving in to it. When we err, we tend to do it again, and again, justifying that we’re glad we’re not as bad as someone else. Nevertheless, that doesn’t change the severity or our wrongdoing. And it is easier to talk about it, than to not do it. But what is impossible with mankind, IS possible with God. Call on Him. Ask Him to give you His shield of protection, and don’t sin. He’s conquered this, and will help see you through.
