There are those who really, truly desire to serve. That is the heart and the core of what Jesus sought for those who would lead. They had the ‘want to’, that demonstrated itself without being compelled by anyone, or induced in any way. Their servant’s heart is what led them to assume greater responsibilities. The Bible says to become more, you have to become less. It’s most important.
