What It Means To Serve

Every person alive wants to achieve something. They want to be able to say that this is what they have done, or accomplished that gave them prominence and success. Something that thrust them into the spotlight, at least for a moment. A point where you obtained some accolades. But the reality is, that greatness is not seen in what you’ve done for yourself, but what you have done for others. You want to achieve the recognition that exceeds everyone and something that gives lasting satisfaction? Do something to benefit someone. Be their servant. Take on the menial task. Lower yourself, and exalt someone else, and you are beginning to see what greatness really is.
